Denise completed the Sports Management Worldwide Agents
Certification course in mid-August 2004. Her educational
background includes attending the prestigious United States
Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland and law school at
the Southern California College of Law in Brea, California.
Her education coupled with her work experience makes quite
an impression.
While employed with the world renowned Sports Agent, Leigh Steinberg,
Denise not only gained a thorough understanding of athlete
representation, she also organized speaking engagements,
television appearances and interviews for athletes and staff. Additionally,
she planned promotional tours in conjunction with local
PR firms, and marketed and hosted promotional events, to
include Leigh Steinberg’s famous Super Bowl party,
Pro Bowl party, College Draft Day party and client appreciation
dinners.
Through her years of experience at Fox Sports Net,
the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado
Springs, and as Vice President, Public Relations & Marketing
with the Professional Bull Riders, Inc., Denise brings
extensive knowledge and expertise in public relations
and marketing to DEI, as well as comprehensive management
skills and professional athlete representation experience.
Ms. Abbott has a broad network of industry and media
contacts. These relationships and contacts will
prove invaluable to the needs of DEI. As Vice
President, Denise will not only be responsible for the
day-to-day business administrative operations, she will
also oversee all aspects of the public relations, sponsorship,
event management, as well as marketing needs of the
DEI clientele. |
